Good shorts for hiking and water sports. I bought 1 pair to try, the 5 pairs thereafter.
The d clip and phone/ruler pocket are great to attach pliers with a lanyard. I wear them fishing and am very happy with stretchyness and fit.

Love them. Would purchase a pair in every color/style if they were ever in stock. Shipping is high coming from AUS to US, but it’s worth it. These are going to be my daily work shorts for the rest of this warm season and wouldn’t doubt it if they lasted me the next two. They’ve got all the right pockets, and super stretchy which makes my job easier when I have to climb up into stuff. And I’ve been enjoying the drawstrings on it, has belt loops if I want to wear a belt but I haven’t been bc I can tie them up. Have really enjoyed not having to wear a belt. 10/10 best shorts I’ve ever owned.

Really comfy and lightweight, glad i bought these. lost a star for some average stitching in the pocket where the zipper (to keep things in?) finished before the bottom so there was a hole big enough for my index finger…

Fit significantly small. Even when going up a size. Good design and quality but seriously consider going up 2 sizes.

The shorts are a good fit, stretchy all round, pockets are deep and suit large phones!
The thigh pocket is great whilst wearing a nail bag.
The only thing that lacks on them is the press stud on the top of the zipper, easily pops open and becomes frustrating.

The button design on these shorts is really poor… every time you move it just pops… being elastic waisted but then adding a zip and button makes no sense and the shorts are not even useable… wouldn’t recommend to anyone who values their money..

Love the feel, look and like the fact a draw sting short has a button and fly however the button needs to be ann actual button not a press stud, it pops open all the time.

Bought 3 pairs of these shorts, they are super light weight and comfortable. Had some issues with 2 pairs of the shorts so I’d emailed them and they sorted out the issue really fast and made it all hassle free! Amazing products and even better customer support!

The button release is so weak the slightest pressure pops it open making the pants unwearable. For what I paid for these (and they weren't cheap) I feel completely taken advantage of. How does something so defective leave the factory gate?

Great design. Great material. Great quality. 2 things that could be improved. The cut/ fit is way too tight. When things start to get hot and sweaty these feel like Lycra bike shorts rather than a light pair of shorts. Resemble a pair of board shorts from the 80’s. The button. Pops open and gives you the shits. Unnecessary. Not sure why a pair of elastic waisted shorts have a button and fly anyway.
Shorts are on the right track but need improvements.

I love these shorts. Finally a lightweight work short with belt hoops, and they are so stretchy! The only thing I don’t like is the push button. It should be a normal loop button as the push button comes undone every time you bend over.

Dead set is the best work shorts I've had in 10 years of working in the industry. They are as comfortable as my gym shorts, and allow me to work in summer, sweating, going up and down building decks, squatting down all day without getting me stuck or bothering my mobility. The only issue I had was with the button on the shorts that was faulty, but as soon as I emailed them, on the same day they sent me an apology email asking if I would rather have a refund or a brand new pair. Not only do they have the best quality but also the best customer service.

The shorts are quite stretchy and comfortable but I find the button isn’t very sturdy and comes undone quite easily which can be annoying.
I think these shorts would be better with just an elastic waist and no fly/button.

Not impressed. Always buy Hawke gear but these shorts weren’t as good. The button doesn’t stay shut at all, always have to use drawstring which is pretty annoying.

Sizes definitely run small, I’m a 30” waist but I find the 32” I bought feels way too tight. Plus the press stud does not hold.

Comfy short running a little tighter than expected. Overall very sturdy and practical - looking forward to getting a bit of wear out of them.
One big drawback is the press stud above the zipper. Open the fly to get your tackle out and the press stud pops almost every time. Thank god for drawstring!

This brand of shorts look really good and are practical for me, working behind a bar. This specific one is lightweight and I love that, however the button does not stay snapped with all the motion in my position. It would be 5 stars from me if it wasn’t a snap button. I bought them for work but cannot wear with them. Bummer.

I’ve had the prime shorts for ever and they have been awesome. The I got the prime 2.0 shorts which were even better because they got rid of the string. Love these, best shorts ever.
The vapour feel great but the elastic back with the press stud at the front is no good. The elastic stretches, they fall down and the press stud pops open. The ties don’t help. They just need a normal button at the front and they would be awesome.
