Some of the best work shorts I have worn. Good stretch and durable. More suited to the cooler months due to the thick material and weight. The fit is slightly slimmer than I would prefer. Would be great to see these in a slightly longer seem length considering they are more suited to cooler weather. 19” or 20” inch. Still great product and great material. Front pocket/ phone pocket is awesome.

They are great shorts. The pockets are fantastic. I have 2 gripes though. Once you put a little bit of weight in the pants, the drawstring loosens and the pants fall down my waist a bit. Secondly, they are so bloody hot to wear even on a warm day. I have sidelined these until winter and will order some of the cooler ripstop pants once they are back in stock. Hopefully the waistband is better on them.

i like the shorts, just wished the back pockets were placed higher on them. as of now placement is a bit awkward and uncomfortable with a wallet in them

These are some of the best work shorts. I live in a tropical climate and will not work in jeans. As a result I go through a lot of shorts for work. These shorts absolutely last the longest. The canvas material they switched the fabric to last AND the double layered fabric on the fronts extend the lifespan even more. The fit of the shorts is perfect, the size is very true and price point is completely reasonable. I’m glad I don’t have to search for new shorts anymore.

RETURNS ARE NOT FREE.
very poor experience with Hawke Workwear. every email i received from them says “free returns” at the bottom. but nothing on the website states that customers must pay for international returns.
i get it, international returns are expensive, but please stop sending me emails that say returns are free. and please update your return policy to clearly state this.
Hawke Workwear never responded to my email concerning this.

Would have been a lot better if I had read more reviews and bought a size down from normal. I always wear a 36 but these are enormous. Sadly I'm also out of AUS so restocking fees mean it's not worth returning these. (I did end up ordering a 34 and it's incredible.)

Best work shorts by a country mile . Arrived in 2 days , super well made ergonomic seams really well considered shorts . I am genuine size 36 so thought they maybe a bit snug , in fact they are an absolute perfect fit. Bought 2 pairs and will purchase another 3 pairs as thats me done for any other brands . Lastly I am an older Chippy and wear shorts 100 perfect all year round south of Melbourne.

Ordered the beige prime pro 2.0 17 and was not disappointed. They feel so sturdy and durable, but still stretch plenty. Only had these beige ones a week and already ordered another pair in black. Totally cool with the prices as long as the quality stays at this level. Much appreciation from southern GA, USA.
