Shorts fit great, look great and are practical

I live in the United States and haven’t been able to find the perfect shorts for me here. Took a chance with these and absolutely love em. I have big quads and a butt and these fit perfect. Will definitely be buying more. Thank you!

I bought a size 28 and they are super small! I’m usually a 28-29 but should have got a 30 at least. Size up!

Shorts are great and love working in them. Only complaint is the side strap that you tighten to tighten the pants around waist is soft material. I’ve had my shorts 5 days and worked in them for 3. Already work that part out.

Basically booty shorts for men. They're unbelievably short and tight even though I ordered my regular size. Because I live outside of Australia, it's going to cost me double to ship back for a return than it did for the price of the items. So basically you're screwed if it doesn't fit you. Horrible horrible system, stay away!!!!

The shorts look nice but they are horribly undersized. I went up one size on my order and they are still too tight around the waist. For reference I ordered size 32. On top of that they make the customer pay for the exchange! Not an easy process if you have an issue with your order.

Warning! If you were a fan or the original heritage prime, the 2.0 will not suffice. The original were my favourite shorts ever, stretchy, durable, lasted well over 18 months of hard work as a concreter. Not only are the new version not true stubbie shorts like previously, quite a bit longer in fact. The overall design has changed and the quality dropped. Fabric ripped at the back pocket on both new pairs within a matter of weeks, all the cheap buckles on the side ripped off as well. Even the colour has faded quicker. I'm sorry to say I will be looking for a replacement brand. Please bring back the original design! Fyi I did email Hawke about it with no response.

The best Work pants I have encountered in my 17 years in the industry. I bought one for every day of the week.

I have been in the industry for 17 years and I can buy far without any question of a doubt say that these are the best Work pants I have ever worn. I bought five for them one for each day of the week.

Length inconsistency?! Super bummer. I absolutely loved these shorts in black—exactly what I was looking for and got loads of compliments—so it totally was worth the international shipping and import fees. So then I ordered *three* more pairs in the same size, one of each color. However, the size/length was completely inconsistent. The new black pair and the new beige pair were a full 1 inch/2.5cm shorter than the original pair I bought! That's the full length of the hem (see photo for loose comparison)! The blue pair was the same length as the original pair I bought. At this already short length, 1 in/2.5cm makes a BIG difference. I was hoping they'd stretch or something, but nope. I'm still absolutely gutted about this inconsistency on these otherwise awesome retro shorts. Beware if you're ordering multiple pairs.

Hey guys. I have multiple pairs on the prime 2.0 shorts, they fit perfectly Then I ordered the same prime shorts the same size and they are a total different size I have taken the tag off one pair and the other pair still have tags on. Would I be able to return them or swap them them for prime 2.0

The material is soft, durable, has more stretch than the prime and prime pros. My favourite hawke shorts in a shorter length. Better cut/ fit also. Definitely my pick for the hotter days. The Vapor’s are useless compared to these. Only downside is only one back pocket. Could do with 2. Please use this material in future releases.

Guys, love your shorts. Will always buy them. Just the last pair of Heritage Primes in black are so big. They say 30” but feel like 34”s. (Slight exaggeration) I’m a 30” and do wear a belt so I can hang my tape. They’re just not feeling as comfortable. Just feedback, no problems. Will continue to wear! Thanks

Really comfortable and very light love them. Did break the button off but I think that was my doing but they are perfect.

BEST WORK SHORTS COMFORTABLE AND LONG LASTING

Couldn’t tell the difference online of which was which. Thought they were the ones I usually got. ( The ones with the draw string in them). Already falling off me half the time so waste of money which is a shame cause I liked the ones I had but can’t be arsed with the shit fight that would be to return them.

Don’t fit very true to size and they don’t offer free returns as described online. The shorts are cute if you are willing to take the risk on sizing and terrible customer service!

Caveat emptor! Way WAY bigger than a 32" waist. Length was great tho. Missing left rear pocket - maybe that's a cultural thing. No returns on sale products, which sux.

the shorts seem solid and well built and they stretch quite well, but what's with the tiny pockets??? My phone doesn't even fit in there properly. It falls out so often these shorts are nearly useless. Were you really saving that much money by making the pockets so short? Go back to your previous style, which I'm now wearing instead of my new ones, because they work better. Also the button came off. I'll fix it myself but shouldn't have to.

So comfortable

These are my only shorts I will ever wear. I have owned 2 pairs for over a year now and apart from getting used and abused they have stood the test of time. From working in the trenches to sitting on concrete floors. These shorts are so comfortable and I actually wear them on the boat and just kicking around the house doing chores. Do your self a favour wrap your buns in these puppies.

Ordered one size down after reading other reviews. I honestly love these shorts. They've got just the right amount of both sturdiness + give, they feel like they are quality-made, the pockets are deep and the length is short but just right ;) My only reservations: I ordered a pair last year, loved them despite import fees to Canada, so went for it and ordered a few more pairs, same size in different colors, when they were on sale. Unfortunately there is some inconsistency in the length between the pairs, even between two pairs of the same color—length difference of about 2cm between them, which normally might not matter, but with these old school length shorts, feels like a notable difference to me, even though the GF still says they look great. I waited to make this review to break the shorts in in order to make sure my interpretations were right and I'll admit they may still stretch and even out over the course of their long lives. 4 stars rather than 5 because of this inconsistency, but otherwise love these shorts, highly recommended. As a short and wide blue collar American, all the shorts here go down past my knees. Not these! They fit me snug in the butt and hips and stop above the knee with extra room allowing for full range of motion. FULL. Incredible quality; they're durable, stretchy, comfortable, and look/wear like real work shorts while feeling like pajamas. Everything's reinforced and I've never experienced a martial like this. Thick, study, moisture wicking, stretchy, AND flattering! I'm just blown away. I haven't even touched my other shorts since. Paying international shipping made me hesitant but now I'm buying another pair to dye another color so I never have to wear anything else.

Bought the Prime and Heritage in 32 originally following others advice to size down, but I must be a fat knacker and needed the 34 which is my normal size. I sent them back and Hawke sent me back 34's, although in their sales t's and c's which I hadn't read there were no exchanges refund etc, so thanks for that fella's. 34's feel great and love the phone pocket on the prime which stops the phone going in the same pocket as the keys and all the other scratchy bits and pieces.

These shorts are exactly what I needed. Super comfortable, durable and a good fit. I found shopping for these online really easy, I ordered them along with a different type of short to compare and they weren't quite right so I returned them for a full refund, no hassles, good service.

They’re comfortable but run a bit bigger than most other brands and only have one back pocket which is a nuisance.

I bought 2 pairs of 32's which are great but too big. I measure 32 so I think the sizing isn't right on the shorts but I just bought a pair of 30's and they fit perfect.

Love these shorts, even if I had to import them to Canada! Ordered a size down as other reviewers suggested and they fit perfectly. Just enough stretch (which is usually too much in most shorts that have stretch in them these days) and just enough sturdiness. Have gotten all sorts of compliments, though I realize the short "heritage" length is not for everyone, they're perfect for me. Very comfortable. Great pockets, reinforced in all the right areas. Great customer service.

The perfect work shorts! Super comfortable, allow unrestricted movement and are the perfect length. I would definitely recommend. The only fault I have found is that the back/side utility pocket needs to be stitched under the back pocket to prevent items working there way under the back pocket and becoming difficult to get to.

I accidentally ordered the heritage shorts. But I wanted the prime pros for the front pocket. Customer service was awesome and sorted it out immediately which kicks ass. Arrived to Canada super fast. I've worked in bibs (Carhartt 34's) for 4+ years. Moving to the coast it's too humid and sweaty. I decided to switch up work fashion. When I wear shorts I want shorts. Not capris. Well. Above. The. Knee. These are perfect length. Magnum PI not Daisy Duke. They're extremely comfortable and mobile. Great for worksite or casual. Seem durable enough a few weeks of living in them. Just can't seem to stop wearing them they're so comfortable. I ordered 34 as that's what I ussually wear in most brands. I could absolutely fit a 32 but 34 has been great. Shoestring belt keeps em up for casual wear. A belt them for work especially with pockets filled. Literally, favorite shorts ice ever owned. Five stars. Definitely will pick up some heritage pants for winter. In fact I'm writing this review cause it gives you a 10% off code. And I want more Hawke wear.
