I ordered one size up an d they still are a little snug. You should not have to buy work pants two sizes bigger. he company is in australia, so it was not worth returning from the US. High quality material, low quality sizing. 3/5

I didn’t think I’d like these shorts as much as I did. I’ve tried various other 5” shorts from Patagonia, bear bottom, and chubbies and by far these are the best. They’re very roomy for being short shorts and they seem very durable. I went one size larger than I usually wear and it makes a difference. I use a belt so I can wear them as low on the hip if I want to. I will be definitely buying a second pair.

Shorts run small, I recommend at least sizing one size up. Unfortunately mine didn’t fit and no returns so I’m stuck with them. Lesson learned

I love these Prime 2.0 shorts!!! The weight is perfect and the stretch is great. The length and inseam totally work for me. Perfect for the bike shop I can slip a tool in the side pocket so quickly. Glad to rep them in the US!!

The sizing runs small and not true to size. I ordered a 28, which every other pair of pants and shorts I own are sized at. These ran small to where they were slightly uncomfortable. I tried to do a size exchange which HAWKE said they wouldn’t cover expenses, which I get after finding out it would cost me $30 to send back. Unfortunately I can’t really wear them and cannot justify sending them back. They are made well which is why I still have them a 3 star but probably won’t order again from them due to the distance of shipping.

Wore them one time, just a general days work. Put them through the wash and they came out in tatters. Holes everywhere. Have no idea how this happened. Everything else in the load was fine. Idk if I had a defective pair or if they’re just weak shorts. Disappointed to say the least for an expensive pair of work shorts

Big fan of the original Prime shorts. I’ve had 5-6 pairs over the years. Tried the 2.0 but very disappointed. The in-store sales rep suggested I go up a size to 36 on the new shorts. Felt good when I tried them on but after wearing them for a couple of hours they had stretched out to the point I was pulling them up for the rest of the day. Unfortunately their 100% satisfaction does not apply to stuff worn outside the change room. Not a fan, straight to the donation bin.

I had problems with the size of my items, the size is smaller than normal I bought 3 shorts size 32 but it looks like a size 28, I wanted to make the return but it is not free you must pay for it but since I live in the USA the cost of shipping is much more expensive than what I paid for the items.
I recommend being very sure of the size before making the purchase because if it doesn’t work for you to return it, it may be more expensive than the purchase

Had these for two weeks after a year of belting the heritage primes like they owe me money which are still going strong, so I’m either weak as piss or the layers of no more gaps and liquid nails are holding them together. Keen to get them worn in. They’re short, they’re comfy and they look real good fishing when the nailbag is not on the hips.
Take your pick you can either wear them or wear them. Good gig

Quality of the shorts was terrible and ads are falsely advertising them for their durability and capabilities as work wear. Not only are these shorts lacking in quality but also in design. Back pockets are placed abnormally low, sitting bellow the butt.
Sizing is difficult to judge and there are no hopes in returning them if wrong size is ordered as the return shipping alone can cost 3x the cost of the shorts.

Great shorts, but 2 issues.
Firstly there shouldn't be a cord and a button with a zip. Very annoying when going to the toilet, to undo the button and then to undo the cords, which are way tooo long and get tangled up easily. There should just be a cord, which is a bit shorter, a zip on such a short pair of shorts isn't needed.
Second issue, there should be slits on the outisde of the thighs to give it better manavourability.
I have bought 9 pairs as they were on sale and comfortable. I wouldn't buy these shorts at full price with current set up, if this is fixed up, then def worth the higher price.

Love the shorts, but my only gripe is the shoe string that is stitched into the waist band. It hangs out the bottom of the short if you didn't tie it up. Understand the purpose of it for oversized purchase but if you don't want to use it, it's hard to remove.
But keep up the good work, love the shorts.

At first i was a bit worried about the sizing because sizing these days are made for skinny people, im not fat just have big legs and they make fitting into work pants rather annoying, but these work pants are comfy, roomy and just a pleasure to be in. Will buy more again
