Great heavyweight stretch cotton shorts. I took off one star because the elastic isn’t tight enough - even fully tightening the draw string doesn’t hold them up reliably. It’s a bit of a pain to keep pulling your shorts up every few metres. Fix the elastic at the waist and these are five star work shorts.

I thought I’d take a punt with the good short, bought 4 pairs on sale. Great price but they are very comfortable. The fabric is really rough, the ripples in the waist band irritate me & the lack of a left back pocket was an oversight on my part.
I’m not angry but probably wouldn’t buy them again.

The Good shorts certainly are! You can tell they are very well made. I would have given them a 5 but they are a little heavy and you wouldn't want to go swimming in them (Besides they aren't beach shorts!). It's a trade of—superior quality must mean hardy fabric that will take a beating.
